GstVideo-1.0 ▶ GstVideo ▶ video_format_to_string

video_format_to_string(format: GstVideo.VideoFormat): string
Returns a string containing a descriptive name for the GstVideo.VideoFormat.

Since 1.26 this can also be used with GstVideo.VideoFormat.UNKNOWN, previous versions were printing a critical warning and returned null.
Parameters
- format: GstVideo.VideoFormat
  a GstVideo.VideoFormat video format
Returns string
the name corresponding to format
